MAYA by Reynaldo Alaniz
While waiting for my funding to get to me for TEMPO ‘21, I have had a little time to do some small projects. I just finished a piece for the garden of La Virgen de Guadalupe. 8/16/21
Side 1
FlASHBACK: In 2000, I made this painting of Mother Theresa ;and, in 2013, it was sold to Sister Dunn of CHI St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan, Tx. .
In May, 2021, my wife and I attended my grandson’s graduation from Texas A & M in College Station and I made it a point to try to locate it for the first time since 2013.
Once in Bryan, we got to the hospital and couldn’t miss it because it was immediately to the left of the main entrance next to the elevator doors safely enclosed in a glass case, one of my favorite paintings.
